Background information luthier Nico van der Waals:
Nico van der Waals is one of those \"hidden treasures\" of the Netherlands but also worldwide grown famous for his amazing sounding guitars. Although these days he resides in Germany, he began his career in the Netherlands as guitar builder somewhere in the second half of the 20th century. In 1965 he also began building lute\'s amongst other instruments and this became eventually his main focus. His guitars - although very rare - are considered true treasures. This guitar was made in 1972, a beautiful understated and almost simple looking instrument. But a closer look reveals plenty of attention to detail, with an innovative elevated fingerboard in an era where this is not common. It becomes apparent that it was built with the utmost care and precision.
Background information for purchase:
This extrodinary beautiful guitar has been played by my late mother for years. The guitar is looking for a passionate buyer who plays classical guitar music at a professional level and ideally performs (classical) concerts. The guitar will not be shipped. When interested a video of a professional playing the guitar can be send to be able to have an impression of the great sound of the guitar.
